Oh and the planes are "flexible" because the wings resemble cantilever beams; of course the deflections will be greater than vertical axially loaded columns. I hope you know the mechanical properties of such things. Raging fire AND physical damage together brought the building down, it's common sense to anyone with an educated mind
delux48 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
And yet the scienceless, engineeringless, logicless, and common sense-less people are trying to twist facts and fundamental laws of nature to somehow try and make people think this is all government propaganda?
cdddcraftsman (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
scientific farce propaganda for dump sheeple produced because they want to shift away from the guilty - delux48:planes are not strong (because they have to fly) but flexible to withstand windforces and temperature changes and fire never brought down a steelframe building never in history exept 3 times on 911. wake up people and search for "bill cooper" here on youtube who predicted 911 in june 2001
delux48 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
No because the material of a plane is even stronger because they withstand extreme wind force, pressure, and temperature changes. The building did withstand the physical hit of the planes, but with the help of fire, it eventually brought the building down.

weren't the steel able to withstand the hit of the plane? can someone answer me back. thanks

If you want to waste your time, go ahead.
From your comments, it can be inferred that you were shoving logic, science, and engineering away and clung to your ardent faith that the buildings had to fall because of a controlled demolition.
You have dodged many if not all all of my questions. Read everything I've said carefully, you'll find answers.
Yes you can believe what you want but you were the one who started it by asking me to explain why I believed you guys were wrong and so I did.
zvast (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You expected me to continue wasting my time.
You acting like a child, side stepping questions, just to babble the same thing.
You have right to believe what you want. So do I!
delux48 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You are one to talk about growing up. If you really had no arguments left, realized you were wrong, or just wanted to ignore me then you could've stopped posting or said something else instead of telling me to grow up. I admit that I was a little arrogant, but you have now brought yourself to my level.
zvast (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Don't say any, because not everybody believes as you, including educated engineers.
You are very arrogant, calling me or anyone backward.
You have a lot of growing up to do.
I think we are done here.
delux48 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Uh, what are you trying to get at?
Seriously, ask any Civil Engineer, ask ANY ASCE professor specializing in structural engineering, they will all tell you that fire raging at such temperatures for periods of times will affect the mechanics of steel. If you cannot understand this, then I'm afraid you're too backwards to reason with and I'll be forced to take back what I said about you not being like one of those 14 year old ignorant ass holes who make up 90% of the 9/11 conspirators. |
