It was essentially a monster movie, like the beast from 20000 fathoms or the giant claw, a one off, which on it's own was an enjoyable movie, but not a godzilla movie. To use a phrase from James Rolfe 'Tristar Raped the Name'. It wasn't Godzilla and caused people to think that Zilla was the true godzilla which it wasn't and isn't

Gotcha. Here's some friendly advice, though:
Try not to sound so hostile. It might catch the attention of a fantard (God, they're annoying!) or a guy who doesn't like that kind of comments. Just saying. I got into alot of trouble for sounding like that, in the distant past.
