Two wildfires driven by strong Santa Ana winds threatened neighborhoods on the edges of the San Fernando Valley on Monday, killing one person, destroying several dozen mobile homes and forcing evacuations. (Oct. 13)

i live right next to sanfernando high school there were alot of people there good thing the fire didnt come tords us well only smoke did....sorry for the people who lost there homes.

Oh, can it. This is southern California - we have fires every year, ya mook. It's called "living in a desert where there's little rain and lots of sun." Then we also have the Santa Ana winds, which dry out everything further and also drive the fires. Oh, wait...the wind is a creation of Muslims too, right? Do they all bend over and fart at once? Dolt.

this fire was or is insane. i was watching it from the parking lot of my school. sad stories to those that lost EVERYTHING. hope the gov't can help them out.
