I'll bet Julian asked this same question too...

cuz John Lennon can do anything he wants and I wont care. Who's with me? :)

Never again. Don't care what that rapper said on the AMA awards the other night. Nice dream, but it'll never happen again. I mean, look, I already forgot his name. Even if you love rap (& I like some) how can that genre ever match Beatles. Rap is THE most recognizable catagories of all music. You never listen to it thinking 'Man this is different' The Beatles were eclectic. They are their own category. Ex's: Eleanor Rigby, I Am The Walrus. Those songs don't sound like anything but Beatles

all that sh..t about paul & john fightin eachother was a crap forged by the medias awa summer of love & all that sh..t. John& yoko were in a very bad mood 2gether when john died, yoko had s.o. in her life and was cocaine addict, in the back of her husband. One will never know, since john is up in the sky now, but I think that openin the eyes, he would have slightly gone from yoko to paul... it's just my opinion of course.

That's very interesting. Thank you sharing that. I also read that he got the glasses when he played a soldier in a movie.

Two brilliant composers. Two competitive friends/rivals. Who's to say whether John or Paul was the better or the lesser of the two, as a musician or as a man? One thing is for certain: we won't see their likes again. Alas.

he suffered heavy myopia as soon as 11 y.old - he didn't mean 2 wear his glasses, because they were "out of [his] looks", and corrected his vision by upping his head while lookin at people which gave him the reputation of snubbing people, whereas he was just trying 2 see things ... a little clearly. His behavior changed as soon as he got a corrected view.

it wasn't an insult. I just think that those are really ugly glasses. Was he nearsighted (myopia)? He didn't wear glasses in the early 60's. |
