To ramey58. Gene Watson is also one of my favorites. I'm the first Japanese memeber of Merle Haggard Fan Club in Japan. It was 1968. I got tired to listen to new type of country music after '80s. Maybe Gene Watson and Moe Bandy are the last traditional country singers for ME.

I really love Marty's piano technique, bit differents from others. I'm sure he knew the best touch for his singings. He is the singer of The Singers. Nobody take his place. I can't find any other fantastic country vocalist in US besides Marty.

I had no idea that Marty Robbins could play piano. I knew he played guitar (and recently learned that he could play quite well), so this is new. Wow, Haggard's impression is incredible. Who else could he do?

I've heard this tape(not on video) so many times, for my friend in US sent me on reel to reel tape. She recorded it from TV. I couldn't enjoy this kind of great program in Japan. So I've been imaged Marty and Merle sing together like this. So you know I'm so happy to live in this high technolgic world to enjoy many video on PC. Thanks for uploading.
