Such a great song, unfortunately tarnished by the memory of someone who REALLY let me down and I will never be able to enjoy it the same. This song is about hurt, disappointment and the sadness that sometimes things are not meant to be. Be careful who you trust people, there are many sinister characters out there.

So much chemistry and tension. I love how she purposefully challenges him (by looking at him constantly) and eventually he responds and they have this amazing musical dialogue together. Pure poetry and romance of heartache and loss. PERFECTO!!

I watched and rewound this part of my tape of the dance about a million times. Clearly, I need the DVD! Ooh, yes, Silver Springs has been my favorite song in the world for 10 years now, thanks in large part to this fabulous performance.
