if you ever find yourself in the position of holding a crying baby that wont settle , fire on this track from the wonderfull tindersticks , start singing it and the kid will be out like a light , works for me all the time ,
one of my top three tindersticks tracks

So many songs featured in The Sopranos are British. The Brits have the best music.

"3:16" is the best part.

Yea I first heard this song on the sopranos also. Like 3:35 is when Tony is about to get shot at! I love that scene with this song in it.

An outstanding piece of music !! I just discovered the tindersticks recently and I'm moved by staples charming voice. Reminds me a bit of Lambchop with Kurt Wagner. Must be great to see them in a live concert!

Amazing song, heard it on The Sopranos first. Really captures that dazed, distant feeling of sadness.

One of my favourite ever tracks

Saw them in Gedling Miners Welfare. Kathleen is the most heart rending song ever. My aunt Kathleen died aged 44 and I can't listen to it now. I think it was recorded at the gig. Magic. |
