3) Don't jump in to the project head first or you may find yourself shoulder deep in disillusionment. Practice programming, model making, and texture making first. Do not expect every project to succeed, and don't be disappointed when you fail, just try again.
4) Make the story of the world BEFORE you start! No one wants a story that's just slapped together after the game is made.

2) Do not copy what already exists. No one needs a WOW or eve clone. Make sure that you make up a unique world as the first thing you do. Make sure to have a unique crafting system if your game will have a crafting system. I know it may be tempting to draw on successful games, but who's going to play a copy of something that already exists?

To the 13 year old (Or anyone trying to make a game!):
1) Well, first remember that a game is not made in days or months. Professional companies with 20+ people working on single parts of the project take years to make games. Do not try to do everything yourself. Get some friends together.

well.
look at it this way.
realm crafter basically comes with loads of models and such, but their all midevil.
BUT! this is made for any type of mmorpg you would like to make. as long as your commonly knoledged in scripting, modeling, and graphic design.

well. honestly.
studying is one thing.
knowing is another.
but it's great your starting.
my main key of advice,
if your project fails.
keep going, because, you can look back at the project as experience.
good luck!
