The US wants Israel to be the only superpower in the region and that includes them having a sizeable nuclear weapons arsenal. But, don't expect to hear this admitted in the 'mainstream media'. In fact, don't expect to hear anything about Israel that isn't totally biased! (I can picture them now....'he's anti-semitic'!) No, it's called 'THE TRUTH'!

Well said mounir. Iraq never posed a threat to the US or UK, in the same way that Syria and Iran and North Korea and Cuba etc don't. Israel and Saudi Arabia and Kuwait weren't friendly with Saddam's regime, just like they aren't with Iran. Although that was not the only reason for the invasion by any means.

Jesus told Bolton that the US needs to bomb Palestine and Iran. I'm sure Jesus would have been all for invading Iraq. Let's face it, Bolton is a pathetic chickenhawk. An armchair, dopy, tough guy of the worst crime. Full of bigotry, close mindedness, and hatred.

Yes Mr Bolton you asshole most people would prefer to live under a dictatorship than in a country where you have to be afraid of being blown into pieces while crossing the street.

The total RECKLESSNESS of Bolton in this interview in regards to Iraq peace and stability AND/OR US credibility and long term security (not even trying to defend the US admin:he was "just following the policy") can be puzzling unless you understand where his loyalty really lies: when he says "our national interest" he is thinking ISRAEL. As far as he is concerned this is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. The perceived threat of Iraq is gone. The US stuck there?watch him care. Next!(Pakistan?Iran?)

What a criminal! What an awful person! How stupid can a person get? For your information Mr. Bolton, just because you support everything you say with a profound grasp of history, morality and common sense, that does not give you the right to help BBC reporters self-destruct on national television. As for Saddam, since when do his crimes against humanity give you the right to be upset. Ever heard of forgiveness?
ThoughtCriminal911 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Bolton should be sent to a gulag for his crimes against humanity.
