Baroque organs had flat peadal boards,not the radiating concave.They were shorter so,no room for heels.You are right.

Let's not think negative and just allow this masterpiece to augment the list of all the other masterpieces by Bach. If Bach didn't compose this, some nameless nobody did, and both Bach and he--if at all--are already dead. So we're neither favoring nor opposing anybody by attributing this to Bach: just listening to great music. :)

I think you're wrong there... cureent thinking is authentic Baroque stlye uses toes only. No heels.
