I love max's composition. There may be better technical leads out there, but he produces some of the most seemless and artistic sequences of moves ever seen, frequently in J&J competitions where it isn't even choreographed.

I agree. It's all about how many beats per minute someone can dance. Megaphone music...yuck! Who cares? There is almost no where to go in SF to Lindy on the weekends. I just got back from Boston where the Lindy scene is alive and kicking with tons of live music everywhere. I've started WCS here just so I can go dancing on a Saturday night! I say it's all swing, it's the MAC vs the PC.

Dancin with a Debutante by Mora's Modern Rhythmists. You'll have to order their cd online to get the song.

Good to know, Bruce. I've been having trouble with the local Lindy scene. They're stuck in the early 20's. Charleston and early jazz pervasive and they look at you funny if you want to hear boogie woogie or anything that isn't traditional early jazz. I'm getting tired of it after two years in this scene. I spent a few years in LA and SF, and they spoiled me, I guess. ;) My heart is with Lindy, but I feel the need to get out and dance. I'm seriously considering checking out the westie scene.

Can somebody tell me the name of the second song? The one they use for Lindy?
