Some time ago I stumbled upon this video. I'd have to say that the message that it provides was relevant back in '94-'96 when I was at MSU. Dr Wesch, I wish I would have had a professor like you. At least you're someone with 'depth' to make people think instead of the study/puke classes I endured most of my life.

only 26.5 hours a day? damn they're lazy, they should come to my university and see how well they multi task. i'm playing a computer game, watching youtube, reading through a forum, writting this comment, listening to music and doing my maths assignment simultaneously right this second.

Brilliant video. my .02...there must be balance in the things we do, you cant expect students to live like a robot and do nothing but school work at school and then the hours of homework especially with all the distractions we have today. + many of those distracted students still succeed at school becuse the system is leaniant enough. I think a real positive thing can come from revamping our schooling system.

Very painfully true . But all we do is a part of the system of life we are taught to exist in . Nearly everyone uses the internet,cell phones,watches TV = waste of time and health ...
