I know the feeling. It's always good to see folks that look like me so I remember that being "the only one" is not normal. Sending good vibes your way for a productive semester.

oooh fondue...It's good that there is an association where you can mingle with other blacks in grad school. That's one of my concerns for when I finish undergrad and go on to grad, will there be opportunities to meet other people. I know that grad school doesn't leave much social time.
