That is a complete misunderstanding of the phrase. It refers to physics and chemistry. If a force is exerted on an object, the object exerts an equal force back. If energy is gained, energy most have been lost somewhere. However, those rules don't always apply with people who study quantum physics with parallel dimensions and anti matter. Why am I talking about this on a Hot Chip video.... ?
