still more than a year on this song makes me smile! o Verka! its actually going on about the war, thats why bits are in German - also my russian stepmother (not evil) says verka is stil most popular over there and indeed the centrepoint of many a party! those damn iron-curtainers sure are crazy.

Pretty sure he is saying Tanzen, German word for dance. Lasha Tumbai means nothing, its just a random phrase but it does sound a lot like "Russia Goodbye" in multiple languages. It might mean that Ukraine is no longer part of the soviet union, or its telling Russia to screw off.
