She did many of their songs, yes, but it was Lindsay that arranged the music on the last album. He holed himself up for months arranging the songs. He was brilliant.
However, I do not remember the story to this song. Could you, please, relate it to us? I am definitely interested as they are one of my all time favorite bands.

A great hit that reminds me of youth, summer and good times. I was quite surprised to find out that the video to this song - outstanding for the mid-80s - tells such a dark, gloomy story. Always remember that it was Christine McVie who penned and sung this song - as she did on quite a bunch of Fleetwood Mac hits.

The video is based on a famous poem called The Highwayman written by Alfred Noyes in the early 1900s. i think it works really weel with the song
