Depends where you are, generally in America (which i'm going to guess you are as you called Football "Soccer") they play in the spring like coley6316 says, but in other places, such as here in england we play all year round, indoors sometimes when the weather is too bad or we fancy a change but there is a "winter league" too where we play outside through the winter regardless of the weather. It's still fun but damn it hurts your hands in the snow

Thats completely different to what we do. Theres a big group of us and we get split into 3 groups, so one is off and the the team that loses comes off and that team goes on. Its good like that coz youn can have a rest.

You can play anywhere, but there are generally three main types of ultimate: indoor, outdoor and beach
Indoor: 5 players on a team, dropped pull = no turnover, smaller pitches, stall count 8
Outdoor: 7 players on a team, dropped pull = turnover, larger pitches, stall count 10
And to be honest, i've never played beach, but its similar to indoor, if you want to know more you can google "paganello" :)
