what a stupid instrument
Raul48819 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
if it's tuned like a standard guitar, why does it sound weird when he plays the G chord?
wielderofdrumstix (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I...NEED...THIS...GUITAR!!!
Stickmasterrr (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Pffff, your instrument is not even in tune! Get a tuner!

Some people really utilize the 'drone' strings well, look on more YouTube vids. But they don't really 'drone' at all. Real sitars don't have 'drone' strings, they have sympathetic strings that sound when you hit corresponding notes. It's the Tanpura that drones. My band uses this thing to pick the chords behind my melody playing on a real sitar. You can't strum it, 'cause that sounds bad, but it sounds cool if you sorta pick at it.

the only reason it might sound annoying is because the drone strings arent in tune-harp wrenches are not the easiest things to find.
great demo-nice playing

That is probably the most annoying instrument I have ever heard in my entire life. Real sitars sound good, but this sounds like a guitar that has been sitting in somebody's cold damp basement for 12 years. |
