I love how Cab's hair would start out neat and end up this mad fly-away mess

Ditto Moonman436. Good Video! Cabbie is always at his best. The standup base player seems to have later played w/ Louis Jordan and His Tippany Five. Id do anything to jump into a Time Machine and take me back. Living in today's music world isn't pleasant, so we look to the past.

Man. Sucks that we lost such an awesome era of music... shows how much things have changed, and not always for the better.

This is such an awesome film. Just think, this predates music videos that we take for granted by 50 years or more. If you like this one you should check out the one where Cab and his boys are on a train to their next gig. They spontaneously jump out of their bunks and start jumping and jiving. These guys are not only united and tight, they are fantastic musicians. Even though Calloway always seems to be so carefree and a clown, he was one of the most disciplined band managers of his time.
