The werewolf in the video looks like the caveman in the Geico commercials.

Everyone copies from everyone.
That's how the business works.
If nobody ever copied other peoples' ideas we would be sitting around banging rocks together.
(That's called Rock Music.)

Okay, but people are saying Kid Rock ripped off this guy. Which is true, but this guy ripped off Sweet Home Alabama. So really if you're gonna talk shit to Kid Rock about it, then you'd have to do the same with this guy seeing how he used the Sweet Home Alabama melody. Besides, Kid Rock didn't completely use this melody. Only partially.

You've been afflicted with 'blue car' syndrome.
If you buy a blue car, you notice all the other blue cars other people have.
Likewise, you saw or read Twilight, and now in your mind you relate it to things you once thought of as independent ideas or concepts.

No it isn't, all they have to do is give a portion of the royalties to whoever owns the original music. You don't even have to ask permission in the first place, as long as you relinquish royalties later.
You're basing how many people like him on how much the radio plays that song? You do realize that people don't vote on that stuff?

If he said that he was fucking with the interviewer. This song was inspired from the 1930 movie "Werewolf of London." It was written in a few hours and was meant to be a funny dance craze song. No meaning to it whatsoever. |
