Lol this is so funny I don't know what the video poster's beef is. I always love it when Colbert does interviews in character especially normally serious talk shows like this one and Larry King.
Sadly people not familiar with Colbert's work will not get this. And they will be missing out a lot because this is just so damn funny.

Russert's brilliant. Long may he rest in peace. He did O'Reilly's act far better than O'Reilly did.

Russert is amongst the greatest journalists of all time. And he is hilarious in this. He's missed every day.

I don't know what the guy who posted this is thinking saying that he bombed? This is fucking Hilarious!

What? He's acting in character, as an elitist Conservative pundit, acting as a satirical illustration of the hypocrisy of both the media and politicians. He was doing the same at the 2006 White House Correspondent Speech, only in front of the president.
It stumps me how stupid you could be as a self-claiming "Colbert fan". His ENTIRE 2006 Dinner speech was done in character, by becoming that irony, there is no stupid "telling-truth-to-power" moment to be had here.

clinton = top 5 best president usa ever had bush = worse person to step foot in the white house Obama = a man who should be respected for the task he has put on himself to bring the USA back to what it was 10+ years ago no matter the skin color you hate him you like him he needs to be respected

I say I'm a Democrat too, but that's because my other option is mentally retarded.
I was thinking more along the lines of Teddy Roosevelt or maybe even Lincoln, but Eisenhower definitely looks like a genius compared to the monkey in chief still technically in charge. |
