This was my dog Rusty who started talking when I mentioned going for a walk back in 2001. Unfortunately he is no longer with me, having been euthanised in 2006. He was 14 and could no longer walk due to Hip Displasia (arthritis). He was a Syberian Husky. I really miss my buddy. Thanks everyone for the great comments. I'm glad Rusty has brought happiness to so many people around the world. Try not to be sad, Rusty had a great life, had great adventures, and brought smiles to everyone he met.

Rusty was a beautiful boy! As you said, he obviously had a great life! We had a 15 year old border collie mix named Bear that we, too had to have humanely euthanized due to hip dysplasia and other complications due to age, but he too enjoyed a long happy life and brought great joy to our family. Pets truly are family members! Thank you for sharing Rusty with everyone!
