Yes, we have done that in the past and fading the tracing is indeed better. There was a bit performance concern on Android simulator, but we will try again. Thanks.
This problem is particularly pronounced for the classic QWERTY layout. For optimized layout (ATOMIK, which will be an option in the next version), there will be a lot fewer zig-zag long traces.

In longer words, like "accidentally", the red cursor line starts to get so long it begins to cover the letters of the onscreen keyboard. Could you make the line eventually fade to some low opacity as it's being drawn to prevent that?

very nice .. but no use unless it becomes available to the public. ... i've been waiting for a download ever since the rough ibm SHARK was abandoned. (I assume the Shapewriter is an evolution of the SHARK.) |
