I LOVE YOU! Only a fan for 2 minutes, but everything you said about the NAACP is exactly what I say everyday someone says, "Well, your people held me in slavery."
1) I wasn't even born and my family did not live in America during slavery times.
and 2) Saying they put "me" in slavery is just wrong altogether because "me" wasn't even born during slavery times. Unless "me" is immortal...>.>

yeah, i agree, it does get blocked out. Lots of non-colored people died for colored people (i know it sounds lame but i dont want to offended anyone) and they're so damn ignorant to even realize it. People risked their lives even afterwards so black people could be treated equally, after a while they gave up...big surprise. point is, i agree with you, well said. |
